First event in Nebraska

The Huttons

We started Mona C's in 2015 while living in Lawrence, Kansas. We moved to Omaha for Kyle's job in 2020. With his crazy schedule we have only had time to do our favorite event in December in Nortonville, KS. Well…we are itching to do an event here in Omaha! We hope to see you October 18th! We will offer 10 to 15 of our flavors in half pound packages along with our Caramel Puffcorn. Come and see us!

New for Valentine's Day!

The Huttons

We are excited about some new gift ideas for you! We found these cool ceramic heart shaped loaf pans! We are going to offer them with Chocolate, Chocolate Pecan, Cookies and Cream, and Peanut Butter fudge. They are going to hold about 2/3 of a pound of fudge. Also new to the 2018 inventory will be a medium size heart of chocolate fudge! About 4 times the size of our chocolate hearts. They will be presented in our brown bites boxes. To order, just send us an email at monacsfudgeco@gmail.com for pricing and info. Of course, we will still offer the conversation hearts as well! Happy Valentine's Day!

Fox4KC

The Huttons

We had an amazing opportunity to be on the Fox4KC on September 28th! We were honored to be able to tell our story of how we got started and even did a little bit of fudge making on the set! We featured our Pumpkin Cheesecake Fudge and we shared it with the news anchors. It was definitely the highlight of our short existence!

Mothers Day

The Huttons

I can't believe it's been officially a year! Mona C's Fudge Company is a year old! We started as a company last Mother' Day. A perfect time to start! A perfect way to celebrate my Mom and her legacy. We have had a lot of fun so far meeting new people at farmer's markets and crafts shows! I've had a lot of fun trying new flavors and experimenting with new fudge shapes for different holidays. For Mother's Day, we have come up with Daisy Fudge Bites. White daisies made out of white chocolate and pink daisies that are made out of our strawberry fudge! A perfect cross between chocolate AND flowers! Happy Mother's Day a week early to all the Moms out there!

Weddings,Baby Showers,Graduation Parties..oh my!

The Huttons

One of the most rewarding things of making fudge is when we are asked to provide our fudge for weddings, baby showers, or other events. The fudge bites are perfect for these! We can try to match any color theme that you may have for the occasion. Any flavor of our fudge can be made as well as a vanilla/white chocolate flavor. If you are having a baby revealing party, we can do a pink or blue colored fudge for you! School colors, wedding colors....just ask! You won't find this on our menu, but please contact us if you are interested!

Fall Flavors

The Huttons

The leaves turn color and the mornings and evenings are crisp. October baseball is being played. Especially Royals Baseball! Football is being played. Fall is here! For us at Mona C's Fudge Company, this also means we are having fun creating our fall flavors! Our newest creation is Candy Corn Fudge! If you've ever had a Payday candy bar, you may love this one! This is a white chocolate fudge loaded with pieces of Candy Corn and salted peanuts! Caramel Apple fudge is one of my favorites. It tastes just like a caramel apple without pulling your teeth out! If you are wanting an excuse to eat fudge for breakfast, try our Cinnamon Roll flavor! Other good fall flavors are Maple, Maple Nut, Caramel Macchiato, Pumpkin, Pumpkin Nut, and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Hurry as Fall will be over in a blink of an eye and Christmas will be here!

Farmer's Market Fun!

The Huttons

My Dad was raised on a farm in Kansas. He grew up getting up early in the morning, working hard and he carried that work ethic throughout his whole life. Growing up, we lived on an acre out in the country with a number of horses. But the city eventually joined us and we weren't in the country any more. Dad however had a small farm that he would go tend. Mom and I would go take him sandwiches on Saturdays.

I've always been intrigued with that kind of life, sometimes wishing I could be a farmer. They are some of the hardest workers, working long hours, with unpredictable weather. What I admire about them the most is that they are the most down home, friendliest, good people. We have been doing a Farmers Market in Perry, Kansas this summer. We have loved meeting some of the farmers and getting to know them. I think I really connect with them because its in my blood. Hopefully, we may meet you at the Perry Lecompton Farmer's Market some Friday eve.
